I have an angel story: I could never prove to you that it was an angel, but you could never convince me that it wasn't. Do you have one of these angle stories?
About 10 years ago, I was working at an outpatient rehab center, and needed to pay on a credit card bill before the day ended. I knew I had enough gas to make it to NW Plaza, but was pushing it making back. It had already been snowing and had begun to pick up immensely. So much so that I was in blizzard conditions. My car ended up stopping 2 miles from work and 2 blocks from the QuickTrip I planned to stop at. As I sat on the side of the road and then decided to walk to QuickTrip, many cars passed me by, while sloshing wet, dirty oily snow on me. Then out of now where a white Monte Carlo pulls up, with no ice, no snow, not a lick of moisture on it. Down rolled the tinted window and their sat the most innocent angelic caucasian face of a woman. The neighborhood was a very bad one, and for her to risk everything to help me out, spoke volumes. One thing, when I attempted to locate this woman to thank her....I couldn't. When I stepped out of her car, I knew I'd been "touched by an angel," and that I'd never be able to contact her, but that's how God would want it right? So I'd worship and thank him, instead chasing some wingless woman, that I might tried to devote my life to after that act of kindness. I mean after all, I was single at the time.
